Website analytics and your choice
Optional Google Analytics measures visits to public pages.
If website analytics is enabled, choose Allow analytics or No thanks. Google’s tag loads only after you allow it. You can change this choice using Analytics preferences in the public website footer. Browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control prevents loading.
Arkilamo sends sanitized public page views without query strings, search terms, names, email addresses, booking references, chat content or payment details. Signed-in dashboards are excluded. Google Analytics may process browser/device information, IP information and analytics cookies as described in the Privacy Notice.
Administrators configure the GA4 Measurement ID under API keys & settings → Google Analytics. The connection check validates its format only. Turn off Enhanced measurement in the GA4 web stream to avoid automatic or duplicate event collection, then use Google Analytics Realtime to check consenting visitor traffic.
Analytics connection status has three stages: Configured means the saved ID format is valid; Tag reachable means a browser test reached Google’s script; Connected means an administrator explicitly confirmed this website’s events in the correct GA4 Realtime report. Use the verification panel to record that confirmation with your administrator password. A format-only retest keeps an existing verification for unchanged settings. Changing the Measurement ID or enable setting invalidates it. Neither script loading nor an administrator confirmation is an automated query of Google’s reports.
